– A 10 minute ride away is the cosmopolitan town of Lixouri, with its veritable array of tavernas, cocktail bars and restaurants and the famous square overlooking the sea, where you can while away the hours with a coffee & cake whilst watching the world go by.

– Xi Beach itself is a 5 minute walk away and is served by numerous tavernas sitting at the back of the beach and accessed directly from the sand, as well as sun loungers/umbrellas and plenty of water sports should you be the more adventurous type.

– A 15 minute ferry ride across the bay from Lixouri will take you to the capital of the island, Argostoli. Again, this is a wonderfully cosmopolitan town with the most delightful bustling harbour front, where the rich and famous often choose to moor their super yachts.
